Elisabetta Virtuani obtained a PhD in Business Administration with a doctoral thesis in Marketing: “Strategic orientations of wine firms: a holistic approach to wine marketing”.
She is a researcher at LEL (Local Economy Laboratory), Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Piacenza. Her reasearch and teaching activities are: wine marketing and communication, wine clusters, wine&food tourism, place marketing and branding.
She is a Sommelier and President of Colli Piacentini Wine Route.
She is co-founder of Bloomet Ltd, a marketing company that is currently in charge of Piacenza Project Governance and Management for EXPO 2015.
