Giulio Mela is a Post-doc Researcher at Crefis, the Research Center on the Economics of the Pig Meat Suppy Chain, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. He has worked for the Italian National Institute for Agricultural Economics. His research activity is focused on price transmission mechanisms, international trade of agricultural products, biofuel policy sustainability and their interrelations with agricultural markets, and the sustainability of agri-food production systems with special focus on Italian quality products.
