CEEP at EXPO2015 Milan Open Day in South Africa

Thanks to the Patronage of the EXPO and the Italian institutions in South Africa, which have managed to effectively engage all stakeholders, a four-day event was organized (http://expo2015openday.co.za/), dedicated to the EXPO and its food and environmental issues, to be showcased in the most industrialized country on the African continent.
Sandown Tours and Incentives, in association with the Italian Chamber of Commerce of South Africa, and thanks to the patronage of EXPO, the Italian Embassy in South Africa, the Italian Consulate in Johannesburg, the ITA (Italian Trade Agency) hosted a delegation of the EXPO, led by Dr. Alzetta, Ticketing Manager of EXPO Pty Ldt and a delegation of CEEP, guided by Professor Riccardo Negrini and by Researcher Chiara Capelli of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
The Italian delegation was hosted on March 16th at an evening event, preceded by a pass conference, at the Michelangelo Hotel in Sandton City, with the presence of institutions, representatives of civil society and business. The event moved to Cape Town on March 18th with events and meetings, including the one at the famous University of Stellenbosh, an outstanding South African university, to explore issues in food, climatic and environmental conditions, in line with the spirit of EXPO.
